Mythology - Jataka Tales

Jataka tales were created by Buddists with some avatar of Buddha taking a form of an animal in each story and offering a good moral. It got translated outside India many times and the recent versions we see today are translations which have been modified by several cultures.

Thanks to Srinivasp for the following Jataka tales.

The Jackal who saved the lion
The greedy crow
The doe which set her husband free
